Refund and cancellation policy

Effective 18 May 2026. We believe in clear refund terms. This page describes how refunds work for every kind of engagement and product we sell.

Project engagements

Dina Holdings project engagements are governed by an engagement letter that specifies milestones and a payment schedule. Refunds for project engagements work as follows.

  • If we have not begun substantive work, the deposit is refundable in full minus a non-refundable scoping retainer of $500.
  • If work has begun, any deliverable already accepted is the client's to keep. Work in progress is invoiced at the percentage complete agreed in the cancellation conversation. The remaining unbilled deposit is refunded within 14 days.
  • If a deliverable is rejected for failing to meet the written acceptance criteria, we will revise without additional charge until the criteria are met or refund the milestone fee for that specific deliverable, at the client's choice.

Software subscriptions

Software subscriptions to Dina Holdings products are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cadence. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account. Refunds apply as follows.

  • Monthly plans are non-refundable for the current billing period. Cancellation prevents the next billing cycle.
  • Annual plans are eligible for a pro-rated refund within the first 30 days of the term. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, and cancellation prevents the next renewal.
  • If a subscription is cancelled because of a material defect we cannot remedy within a reasonable time, we will refund the unused portion regardless of plan length.

Pilot and trial periods

Trial periods, when offered, are explicitly free during the trial window and have no refund implications. Pilot engagements are governed by the pilot agreement and may include their own refund terms.

Auto-renewal disclosure

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Receipts and renewal reminders are sent to the email on file. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account or by emailing the office.

Chargebacks

We prefer to resolve disputes directly. If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, we may suspend your account while the chargeback is investigated. If a chargeback is filed in bad faith after a refund has already been issued, we reserve the right to recover the original amount and any associated processor fees.

How to request a refund

Email dinaholdingsllc@gmail.com with the subject "Refund Request" and the relevant order number, invoice number, or engagement reference. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 calendar days to the original payment method.
